Comparison shopping

OK, I'm planning to buy a new laptop probably (specifically I'm looking at this one, £100 cheaper in Dixons). So the question is a) where can I look for a bit of price comparison? Seems like a good price to me but what do I know? And b) any other laptops/makers you'd recommend? Any comments on Packard Bell as a maker?

I'm really really happy with my ibook:

Same sort of price range. Also the new OS supports out-of-the-box commnication between Mac and PC network wise.

This is the one I wish I'd waited for...

i.e. like mine but with the ability to do wireless and games.

Now, now! I did consider getting an iMac but I may well need to put .NET on it at some point as well as having a lot of windows games. .NET seems to have enough trouble running under winXP that I think running it on an emulator would be stressful to say the least!

Dear Tinyjo

PLease check Inmac or Microwarehouse's web page on:
http://www.inmac.co.uk
http://www.microwarehouse.co.uk/
This is the one used by my group and my department. They deliver quite quickly and they got an excellent after-sale service.
