Stranded

I thought I'd been finding cycling harder again, and a quick check this morning confirmed that yes, my brakes are busted again. Don't buy a bike from Halfords, I'm telling you. This time though, one of the front bits has completely lost it's spring and needs to be replaced. Which is fine, except that they can't give it back to me until Monday. If only it was like car repairs where they gave you a courtesy bike to use while they're tuning yours up.

a curtsey bike
is that where it kneels in front of you??

I saw you running for the bus this morning, helmet in hand, little plaits bouncing!

blasted spell checker! I should pay more attention. Ah well, at least I caught the bus. And I'll have wavy hair when I take the plaits out.

I would have said hi except that you were obviously in a hurry. So was I, but I was on a bike. Ha ha (rubs it in, sorry).
