Time

Over the weekend, I have lost my watch. And of course the fates dictate that I won't find it again until I buy a new one. Which is bad, because I am very picky about things like that. I forsee me being late for things a lot.

Also, what is it with daylight savings time? Does it now exist only to annoy me? Once a year I wake up late for things (in this case, late for a lie in, but still) and then once a year I wake up to discover that I could have had an extra hours lie in.

As long as you don't forget about it, the October lie in is a wondrous thing. But yes, I've turned up for work an hour early before. (I was working on a Sunday.)

actually, I spent all last week getting up an hour early

... and now I seem to be back on time again. Hurrah for daylight savings!

Ahhh...extra hour?

I thought it was the other way around? In any event, I don't get this mad temporal flux until this Sunday AM.

The worst bit was thinking that Radio 4 had changed their scheduling, and that we would no longer wake up to 'The Archers' on Sundays.
The realisation that that wasn't true was crushing.
