In the US particularly, this lot couldn't be more a 'regime' than they are.
Still, I think everyone should pull their own John & Yoko routine ... very healthful, and much more in keeping with this season of growth and renewal.
I'm terribly dismayed by those who seek to bring death and ruin on this season - they are criminals of the natural order.
Incidentally, today is the Persian New Year, called 'Norooz,' and according to an Iranian friend, is "a celebration of nature and all the beginnings in nature. People buy flowers, hyacinths especially, make a nice meal I(herb rice an Fish, mmmmm), buy new clothes, give money to children of the family, grow wheat sprouts, etc etc. and stay up until the equinox. It changes every year.
