My favourite fantasy
While I muse about the entry about why I put my personal feelings online, here is another one of them.
When I'm feeling stressed, or down, or lonely, or just suddenly feel the need for a hug, and Alex is not actually around to give me one, I close my eyes for a moment (assuming I'm not driving or anything) and this is what I imagine.
Its dark. I'm lying in bed, on my side. Alex is behind me with his arms around me holding me close. I cover his arms with mine, keeping the hug tight. We're what I believe is known as spooning - lying with me tucked neatly in the curves. I can smell him when I breathe in. He hugs me and gives me a little kiss on the back of the neck as we doze off together
That's what I'm thinking about when I say hug.
