I'm going to the Rocky Horror show on Friday. This is very exciting because I've only ever seen the Rocky Horror show once and that was the film at someone’s sleepover - not the ideal situation for taking notes on costumes! I've been out and made a start - I've bought a lovely purple bodice thing - but I am going to have to have a think about where to get a sparkly tailcoat from...

Also, I've just been shopping with Alex and I really really really want a Handspring Treo. I've been thinking about upgrading my palm for a while - it's been looking a little battered ever since that time I left it on the bus - and I'm already planning to change my phone contract. And they're really cool.

I was eyeing one of those a year ago and have held off (probably will still hold off).

A collegue in the office has one, and really can say enough good things about the Treo.

Apparently in the US, you have to pay an additional $10 to download software to get it to comprehend handwriting since the main interface is the minikeyboard.

Yeah, very very nice.

Me, I'm seriously contemplating losing my landline, and just keeping the cable ethernet and the mobile wireless for my communications needs. It's just not worth the money I spend I think
