Draining away

I'm sitting here in the deaf/hard of hearing centre wondering why I volunteer for this - I hate giving blood. But I suppose I feel a little like I do about taxes - if I want the service to be there, I should do my share. I may yet escape - I had a menegitis vaccine 3 weeks ago.

I caught a nasty dose of food poisoning in Indonesia and they don't want my blood - none of it.

I have mixed feelings about this.

I have mixed feelings about this.

It would certainly get me thinking "What are they not telling me..."

I had to give mine after all though. I did get biscuits but I went into Borders while I was still weak which was a mistake.

Nah, they just have to be very cautious. I meant, I like that I don't have to give blood, but I feel guilty about liking it.

I forgot my biscuit

I've just given too, ten minutes ago. Even though they had a hard time finding a vein it was not bad. I declined my biscuit as I was going to a catered meeting, but that was cancelled. Off to Virgin to blame low blood sugar on an impulse purchase of Fellowship of The Ring.
