Wow. Despite the fact that I can hardly breathe (how can I have a cold ?! Its the summer! I protest) AND the fact that I had a glass of wine at lunchtime I've actually got loads done this afternoon - I can hardly believe it :)

I have finally seen Alien - watched it at truecatachresis and squigglyruth's last night. And it was a good film. There were only a couple of occasions where people did something stupid and only one of those wasn't easily defensible and it was scary and it had Sigourney Weaver in vest and panties :) Why don't they make movies like that any more?
