I have one of those bushes in my garden too! Lovely stuff. They smell sweet but not that strongly, ISTR. They always make me think of honey and bees...

Nope, that is bridal wreath, with the red showing through being Japanese maple. My garden is really blooming at the moment.

Ahhh, thanks! :D They look sort of like the lilacs my mom has growing at her house, which was why I was curious. But yes, very pretty! <3
