Oops - forgot to post arranging meet-up tonight. Alex and I will be eating so the FFTMC is out unfortunatly. When did there become such a dirth of good city centre pubs serving food? I'm loath to go to the Turf because it will be full. I'm going to go for the Old Tom. Not large, but food available, close to my bus stop and I have a discount card for it. See you there, hopefully.

As there is no conceivable way I can accidentally walk past Clarks on the way from work to the Old Tom that's probably a really good choice...

*wonders how easily she can get lost and find herself in Cornmarket*

I can always come and drag you straight there if you really want ;-)

I'd better not take you up on that, as if what then happened was that I dragged you up to Clarks and bought the shoes anyway you'd end up feeling guilty about not stopping me...

Gardeners in Jericho does lovely vegetarian and vegan food if you fancy the trek and don't mind no meat or fish.

The Radcliffe as well.

Honeypot is alright?

Hmm, what time? I could go there straight after work to grab food, but I'll need to be up at the Oxford Cycle Workshop by 6:30.

Food at the Radcliffe Arms is cheap and cheerful, but Jericho is a bit too far for city centre people, sadly. Doubly sadly in that it's spitting distance from my workplace :)
